Whats your biggest peeve that people do when it comes to car audio?

when people dont understand the importance of there box.

thinking that there fi hitting 141 tuned to 34hz is a bad score.

just because someone did a 148 with a dd in a fart box.

or when people think the more subs you have the louder without thinking about power suply. or quality of the sub. i had some kid with his 4 10''jl w2's tell me his systme ws louder but then he got all pissy when he hit a 138 and i did a 145. with 1 12'' FI.

when someone is like 'man i'm bangin! and my gain is only 1/4 of the way up!!' like it has so much more potential if the gained was turned *gasp* halfway!

I didn't read all the pages, so this may have been mentioned. I cannaot stand seeing speakers on the rear deck. If you can't or won't put them In the deck, at least get a box. I just saw a mid 90's 5 series with two 6x9s and two 6.5s just sittin there. It really gets under my skin for some reason... Lol

they can be. they an also be dbs off. the thing with the ac and termlab is that every termlab anywhere is going to be almost identical. the ac can fluctuate drastically.

i had a guy tell me he hit 240db in a s-10 regular cab with a box behind the seat while i was wearing my pioneer shirt i got at world finals with the world record on it then after i showed him he still swore he hit 240db what an idiot!!!

I don't know how many times I've been asked if we carry "FEE", "F-I", or "FI"...

I would never make fun of someone for how they pronounce these acronym/vowel jumbles Mostly because there's no 'pronunciation guide' and I like calling RE - 'reee' rather then R. E. ! As long as I know what you're talking about I can overlook the small stuff!

But I hate the people who go to the audio shop and get 'a system' installed and don't know anything about it, like how much power, what kind of speakers, or even how many subs of what size!

I hate it when a dummy's try to jimmy rig a 12" woofer into a 10" woofer box by using a hammer to make the 12" fit dum if you ask me i also hate when a noob uses the thinest wire inside there speaker box and they have the subwoofer running of of the head unit of a stock stereo...... :01nocomment8so:

Well when the voltage drops below 12v, their excursion gets better because their alternator re-routes all the power to the subs and nothing else because it's 1.000,000 watt alternator. It gives them so much excursion the sub could slap someone in the face thats ten feet away. Plus, it's cool to hear trunk rattle inside your car over the bass. <--- All that was joking. .

Big fan of the YT vids btw.
