BulletInjection
My boy told me if you tie a funky pup to a lightening rod and wait for a bolt of lightening to hit it and meter it, it might pass the 200db mark Sorry, just wanted to join the fun ... dude that is genius.... Someone needs to do this fo REAL just set up the TL in the van and leave it there and just wait until it strikes then check the TL haha My build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...8920&st=100 http://www.youtube.com/Bulletinjection
hpbroke
ok well what about the USACi days in port wars I seen a single mtx with 400 watts to it do 184 but that was with the audio control mic ( POS) but I seen the number anyways. I would like to see people do more port metering to just to justify the sound pressure leaving the port. and with VIDEO's it would be fun TBH! http://www.youtube.com/user/hpbroke2?feature=mhum

Actually maybe even over 175 made it freak out. The few cars I know of that can do over 180 dB, do less SPL near the port and in the enclosure. They're designed to have the highest SPl reading near where the meter is mounted. Extreme cars can be 20 dB difference. Its because of wave alignment.
