Forevrbumpn Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 damn, looks good, but I thought those left over holes on the sides and top would have been covered. looking at the box seems like it would have been tuned hella high, but its in the 33-34hz range? that was amazing.... If your not satisfied with the way it sounds, there may be cancelation from those outside ports, maybe in a way they may have 2 seperate tunning points... before you tear it down, why not try and cover those holes, and rely on that massive port in the middle?? Yeah I just typed this response, and went back to look at the wall, and it got me thinking, it HAS to be differences in port velocity between the different shaped ports, you have a small one which probably has a really high velocity, then the 3 larger ones must have all different velocities, and it may end up peaking at a low frequency, where all 4 ports meet up at.... that makes sense to me I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
