inm
Can someone tell me how to check for clipping in Audacity? And, sorry if there's threads about this, I tried to search, but I didn't find anything... OrionStang
Import the song, at the top go to the 'view' dropdown menu. There is an option there that says show clipping. Check that and clipping will show as red on the graph of the song. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

Decaf
even then the "show clipping" option only shows you when the song exceeds 30db throw some of my songs in there and they clip, but only for 4 to 5 1,000s of a second so it doesnt even matter clipping can occur at 10db so that should not be the end-all-be-all clipping indicator... ur ears and eyes should be zoom in on bass notes and look for flat spots

inm
Weird... I have version 1.2.6... I don't know how, since I just downloaded it last week. Oh well, I guess I'm off the get the latest one, even though 1.2.6 is what was showing as "latest" on Audacity's site. Thanks guys On 2/28/2013 at 2:52 PM, Chaise said: "Now spread your butt cheeks so I can zap your asshole." 2008 Subaru Forester XT
