HHR Ed
I dont even have an explorer and I can tell you subs up, port back is the best setup. Best I have seen is 2) 15s doing 155s. It was Team Pop Rocks doing dB Drags in 2005-2006 I believe. Maybe 2007 also. But many others have used Explorers in street classes because they meter extremely well. 150s shouldnt be a problem in an explorer as long as you have all matching woofers. jmanjr82
Ed is totally right, but he is an extreme builder so anything he builds is loud. I heard of the Team Pop Rocks truck, but I never got to see it no vids nothing, thats pretty damn loud for a pair of 15s.

jmanjr82
Damn they took up a ton of room. Mine was under the window line, and all in the rear cargo area seats up everything. Still looks badass though

techforce
Here is my rig in my 2004 Explorer... I went with 6 Memphis CM Cast Mojo 15's. At the kickpanel on my term-lab it peaks at 154.5 Not bad for the little power I got going to each one... I need more power... but need MORE money! LOL! It is tuned to 40hz for daily listening... (It wouldn't let me post the pics but just the link to them on the GARAGE???) Pics of my explorer in the GARAGE
Wagonized
i had a 97 explorer competing in dbdrag street C in 07 and 08. with 4 9912s 4 AB 500.1s, 2 nsb90s and 30 runs of 1/0 I managed 157.4 sealed at the dash on the TL...however had roof issues and only managed to pull a max certified of 155.7 the following year I switched to 6 solo x 10s and a better box design..same 4 500.1s, same batts, same runs and was up to 157.8 but the setup had issues shattering cones every 2nd or 3rd burp. If I could have ran 4 9910s I would have surely had less reliability issues and possibly a louder score aswell. After finals in 07 I also bassraced a 150.6 with the truck off in front of a small crowd just to show what it could do.
