R_Mac_1
I like that idea, the front speakers are like 250RMS infinity and the rears are just some junk 50RMS speakers but they do work If they're just some junk 50w 6x9s, do you really think they're doing anything to help your system? Some people say they prefer the sound with rear fill, but I didn't mind not having the rear speakers. Blackedout
if your speakers up front are amp-powered infinities, i wouldnt see any problem with just removing the rear speakers. He it would be louder with rear speakers. He's putting no more than 75 RMS to each component up front with the Xplod amp... basshead4life
as long as you only cut thru the thin metal and nothing that looks like supports you'll be all set. i saw a pic on here of someone that cut the whole thing out except for the support. Baydestrian
I say invest in a better amp for the infinities up front to give them enough power so you can ditch the 6x9s in the rear deck Quote 2015 Mazda 6 JVF Customz 4.0 Proto 15>Wolfram W4500 @ .5ohm 2 Sundown Neo 6.5 + 2 CT Meso Tweeters (Front) x Kicker KS6.5 (Rear)>JL Audio VX400/4i NSB-AMG35 (front) / 40ah Lithium Headway (Rear) built by Erni Audio & Electrical
