Well if you really want to bet that's cool with me. But not 155db let me break 150db first. A bet I'm willing to make is ,150 at the dash by the end of this year. On this I would bet 100$ no problem. But it's up to you man. I don't see why you would doubt me. Just because i asked dude some questions???

Because you claimed 155 would be easy then got pissy when I suggested it wasn't while at the same time asking a forum on the internet how to tune your SPL box.

155 + needing advice from the internet = doesn't happen.

150, maybe. Just maybe you could brute-force your way to it. But 155, hell no.

you do know with the same setup just to get 3db you would have to double your power... That gets you to 148 hypothetically. Your next 3db you will need to double the power again... but your subs will have to be able to handle the new power witch will cause you to spend more money to get better subs... then your going to have to get more batteries, bigger Alt or second Alt. With the extra power you will have to build a stronger box. All this just to get to 151db hypothetically. Now if you want 155db you will have to double power again and then another 1 3/4 more to hypothetically hit the 155db mark.

it actually is a lot more involved then this but this is just a general idea of what it would hypothetically take.

Boon does know what he is talking about... I wish you the best of luck in your journey and please post a vid when you get a chance.

ok so you just said I might be able to hit a 150. Now can you help me do so? I'm hitting a 145 with this set up , any help would be great, dont be all mean just give me some input. so heres what i got please dont laugh, or at least try not to.

At least now if you say it's not possable to hit a 150. you have at least seen what I have. So i know your not guessing but just being honest.

Back on topic I think every one will agree that with one 18" out of a trunk you can expect about mid 140's. Most likely same applies with two 12's. But you can get in to the mid 150's. If you know what your doing on know someone who does.

In DbDrag there has never been a certified 155 ever in the World.

Trunks are hard as hell to get really loud but to me its more rewarding when you do find the right combo to break that 150.

I'm currently at 152+ and 151.8 certified. Ea time I double power I only see a 1.5-1.8 gain. 6 batts lots of runs of 0,320 amp alt,14k amp and some Monster 10's.

Good Luck OP and dont forget.....

King of the Trunk Series is free with awards for 1st place in all four categories. First show Carlisle!

We hit a 145.1 out of the trunk with our setup. Running a 15" Memphis Mojo with a Mojo amp @1ohm @ 3000 watts. Completely sealed up the back, speaker cutouts and everything. We picked up a DB doing all the sealing from our previous setup that had a lot of gaps. 150 should be possible with a good solid setup like Thor's but for a solid daily beater like ours I would expect 143's to maybe 148's with good power and a decent sub.
