nobody on here can really give you a definite yes or no until you go drive it and see how it runs, but from the pics it looks like its in good shape and thats pretty good milage for a '00. it wiykd probably make for one hell of a build too.

R.I.P '01 blazer you treated my ears well until your transmission blew up.

Nice truck, just too high priced. How was it lowered is what I'd be asking about. Drive it to make sure everthing works right and the ride isn't too bad. Cheap lowering parts suck for ride quality, if it has lowered spindles or control arms it should help the ride. But if it just has lowered spring, the ride will be poor. I'd buy a nice non lowered S-10 and then do the work yourself.

If they're asking 9k for it, they probably paid 5 or 6 (unless it's been on the lot for a while and they've dropped price already). If you're really interested (after driving it and making sure it's clean) try your best to get the price down a couple grand. .

If you're serious, just flat out tell them. This is my price, if you can get me there I will buy it today. If your price is fair and they want it gone, they should work it out. (At least that's how the dealership I worked at was. I sold cars for a few months and learned a decent bit about how it works).

If you're going to finance it try to get approved through a bank before you go. Tell your bank about the truck and whatnot so they can give you an idea of what they will loan you. Then you can take that to the dealer and they can either give you the deal, or they may try to find you better financing (they work with banks daily and can sometimes get you a better deal. They want to do this because they get money on the back end for financing you. Just make sure that they're financing is actually better).

If you're paying cash, don't tell them what you have to spend. Tell them you have the cash, but don't say "I've got 8 grand right now." What if they would have sold it for 7? Get the price down first before you tell what you're willing to spend.
