G_skillz81
I've neaver heard of the datcheg-2.. and it only pulled up like 3 links in google. Is there a site with more information? The market name is USB Bass Meter (there are several versions) .... it is made locally and has it's own software...these are calibirated against a TL so they are fairly accurate (within a tenth or so of the TL) up until 155 or so... Obviously the TL score is still king for bragging rights, but the so called "datcheg-2" (household name if you will) is quite a usefull tool to the average joe when dialing in his system and testing different setups and boxes - and it costs about half the price of the basic TL The box is designed and built by the guy who shot the vid...he is quite good with box designs you can message him on youtube and see his other vids this is the same car, same amp - the subs are d2's so it's wired to 2ohms....that setup metered over 141 on music... the SAE1200D's are absolute monsters Quote 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 - Deep Orange Build log - Blowthrought with 4 18's http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/122600-4-18s-in-a-dodge-ram-team-sundown-russia/ Sundown Audio SAX125.2 - Sundown PA 10" Shok-wiring & RCA's XS Power D6500 Mechman 320A Sundown Audio Russia http://sundownaudio....dex.php?/index http://www.drive2.ru...ram/ram/skillz/ - more about my truck http://www.youtube.com/user/Gskillz81

Many thanks for the kind words on behalf of Team Sundown Russia and the guys here at W.R.Customs. We hope to show much more in the coming months as the season starts. I just talked it over with my guys the meter uses the Spectralab software with custom calibiration, the sensor itself matches the TL. As fas as I know it does not do RTA (at least not the version we have). We do also have dual sensor - USB Bass Meter Pro that allows heads up metering for two cars. If you are so inclined we'd gladly sell that to you for $400. We even have one of our teammates residing in your area - he travels between Russia and US quite often. We can get the meter to him and he'll come by so you can test it out yourself... If nothing else it'll be good for some great vids on youtube Best regards, Greg Kashin Sundown Audio Russia W.R.Customs Quote 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 - Deep Orange Build log - Blowthrought with 4 18's http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/122600-4-18s-in-a-dodge-ram-team-sundown-russia/ Sundown Audio SAX125.2 - Sundown PA 10" Shok-wiring & RCA's XS Power D6500 Mechman 320A Sundown Audio Russia http://sundownaudio....dex.php?/index http://www.drive2.ru...ram/ram/skillz/ - more about my truck http://www.youtube.com/user/Gskillz81

Only prob i have is, i spent $1200 on my TermLab.net setup (the original) back in 04 - and it has an RTA. I wouldnt mind trying that one out but i couldnt justify spending 4 bills on something i already have. It looks like a GREAT program though! I would consider it if it had an RTA that way i could sell what i have and replace it. Right now id have to keep it and it wouldnt make sense to have both. Thanks for the offer though! Also, welcome, and thanks for joining the forum...good luck to all of Team Sundown Russia! I look forward to more pics and vids in the future! midnite_bump
That's bangin for one 12. Can tell it's a good box set up. That's crazy power for that one amp too I saw the meter drop to 11.8 at one point. We are actually looking to pick up the TL in the next month as well. I think, we can arrange getting this meter out to your place to test it out and have some fun with it...I didn't actually intend for all this to sound like a sales pitch LOL And many thanks for the welcome you have one of the greatest forums around! I know there are a good number of Russians browsing SMD on a regular basis and believe me when I say this - You, Sir - are a huge inspiration to all of us.
