BlockShaker Posted June 1, 2007 Report Share Posted June 1, 2007 (edited) I got a ticket on Memorial Day and I never knew how much it was going to cost until yesterday. He pulled me over for having a loud stereo and called it a "City Ordinance Violation/Misdemeanor" and when he looked inside he gave me another ticket for having a TV in View/Civil Infraction. I told him that the TV was a Back Up Camera Monitor and he did see that it was used for that but he still said that it was supposed to be off while driving. I hired a lawyer for $500 because the loud stereo ticket puts about 2 or 3 points on my driving record so I have to go to court for that soon. As for the TV the lawyer is going to try to knock it off. All of this and it doesn't even include how much I have to pay for the ticket or the court costs. The bad thing about this whole situation was that I had the volume at about half the volume and wasn't even that loud. I would of felt better if I had it on full tilt. It was the end of the month and the city needed to make money quick so they were just pulling everyone over for most bs violations.
