I think I will bencn test mine on a known voltage (with wire needed attached) to set it, running it up and down voltages , then install it, I will be hooking it to my rear batts

red-battery near amp, or amp 12v itself for good reading

blue-remote wire (mine is hooked into my wiring harness)

black-ground (mine is also hooked into the wiring harness)

So wait- red goes straight to battery, black is ground, and for blue I can choose the power wire for either my amp or head unit?

Well the remote turn on wire is gonna be the same at the deck and at the amp so you can choose, im doing mine at the amp, red on rear batt and black on rear batt

I will be running all three wires to the trunk for mine, remote to relay bank, power to rear batts and ground to rear batt. I will prob use 3 conductor sheilded wire from work, we gota ton of it

This is what i would do for yours

RED front batt +

BLACK front batt -

BLUE deck (blue) remote turn on wire

or you just could run all three wires back to your amp, or just the +~- to your amp, and then remote to the remote on your deck
