wL<3bass
getting upwards of 30k is pretty much a black light, is it not? Yeah its pointless and isn't even as good as stock....wait til a nice downpour at night...your gonna be going about 10mph the whole way home.... I got hit with a downpour at night with my 10000k (back-ups) bulbs in my truck (one of my 5000ks went bad) worst experience ever.. Not to mention when you get them real blue looking they just look like cheap crap... 01xtreme
The more the color is concentrated, the lower the brightness of the light. exactly, those dont look like what I would consider 30k. More like 16k or so, but even those start to look purple. Bigg Boy
Alot of people got caught up trying to get the higher and higher bulb K ratings. I have seen many kits saying they are 30,000k and they look like the 10-12,000k bulbs we sell. 12,000k should be extremely blue. I highly recommend 6,000k-8,000k, if you want blue. Any thing higher then that you will have problems seeing due to the color your head lights are producing. tlee2
i got about 5 different color temperatures of hids. 8000k is what i would probably recommend. Their bright and still have a lil color. As far as comparing stock to these 30000k their still is no comparison. These are way brighter. When i ordered them they said 30000k but like somebody said they are comparable to some other companies 12000-15000ks. I switch my bulbs out pretty often so im usually not rollin this blue but i had to take a video to show how blue these bitches really get. 6 Sundown X 15s 2 Sundown NS1 V2s C Pillar 4th order Bagged Suburban on 24s http://youtube.com/tlee333
