All it sounds like is a bad camshaft, my buddies old dakota had the same sound. Sounds like its not opening up all the valves on one cylinder

1. Maximum auto service center: Arvada Co....Said $4,500 for overhaul

2.A&P auto repair in golden, Co......$3,500 for new engine installed or overhaul but overhaul would cost more....

Hell last time I was home I found a 98 for 2500. Had a v6 and 100,276 on the odometer.

^^^yah dude I love my baby to much to sell it....We have 2 more mechanics to visit and one of them only works on Nissans and used to work at a nissan dealership for like 20 years....

Str86diesel- Yah man they seem like hell expensive...Know anybody else that works only on japanese cars or only on nissans??

Hope that Nissan guy we found can find a better solution..

95....I got a call.from my dad...Found a mechanic that is my uncles best friend.....Said about $1,500 starting price for install and check out on the engine we will order......I think it is a great deal....My dad called me in the morning with the green light to find a new engine with a new trans...
