Aidan Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 Every time I turn off my car, and open my door to get out I get shocked when I touch my cars chassis. Does anyone know what could be causing this? It has gotten more intense after I installed a HO alt. I have done the big 3. Any help is appreciated.

Most of the time, something as little as shifting your foot on the carpet (from brake to gas) in low humidity will build up static. It happens to me every day and like 90% of everybody else.
