raytard
x2 on the dex-p99rs no other deck has that many adjustments. its a no-holds barred sq deck thats supposed to give you everything you'd ever need (from the ability to run 4 way active right from the deck(8 channel 5v output), to ta for every channel, 31 band eq's (plural), adjustable slopes on xovers, etc...) oh, 4 separate 24 bit DAC's...one for each channel. AND a 32 bit DSP give it a few months and i'm confident it will be the new reference deck for sq builds. no built in amp though...but what sq guy doesnt use an external amp? Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC

bayoublaster
I have an Eclipse CD7200MK2. Its no longer being made so I got it at a steal and just bought the warranty with in so that if it breaks and Fugitsu 10 cann't repair it the shop with give me a new unit(another brand) that has the same or better features for whatever time period that my head unit dies. Good luck in your search. I think that everyone here has their own preference but I really can't say one way r the other sense I have limited knowledge about other HU(s). qu1cks1lver56
Those Denon Z1's are soooooo nice. I would love to have one, but I'm too spoiled today with ipod controls and whatnot. For current decks, the 99prs is probably the best one. I'd like to demo one of those. Wish they weren't so much, I'd love to do all my processing from the deck and not fool with any other processors.
