WTF? I want to thank all of you for your concern. I have to tell you I was in hysterics after it happened and I saw what had hit us. That could have been it for me! It made me think about the story that was on the news a few years back that happened up in Jackson when someone dropped a rock from an overpass and killed the person in the vehicle that it hit! It's very disappointing that the CHP didn't want to do anything, they said all they would do is take a report for the damage to the truck, never mind the fact that I could have been killed. CBS 13 did come out and interview us at the scene and took a lot of footage of the truck this afternoon and it will air tonight on the 10pm news. CBS 13 is going to call the CHP to see if they have had any other reports for the same thing in the area. If it's not one thing for this poor truck it's another. Glad to hear everyone is ok, and I hope something changes with the CHP doing their service calls when they air that clip on the news. I bet they won't blow off anything like this anymore. Totally going to catch them by suprise. They would not expect an average citizen to say ok then...I am going to the news. They think you are going to just be like...ok guess I will call the insurance company. But if you think about it. In order to file an insurance claim, there has to be a police report I think. Am I right? WTF? If they don't even come do their job to help you get the insurance company to do their job, WTF is a person to do? Insurance shouldn't be any problem, although I do hate dealing with them and body shops You know, the truck will sit in the shop for what seems like an eternity before they ever touch it!
