My random worklog (with HORN boxes)

Recommended Posts

(I know it`s not car audio, but if it`s not appropriate, let me know)

So I got a day off from work and that means spending some time in the garage and building something.

I got me a pair of Fostex FE103E speakers some weeks ago and thought I should try making a horn box with a cutoff frequenzy of right around 50hz.

The speaker

Looks good I would have rounded over the port edges and put 45s to help with output.

Thanks guys! I thought about doing kerf, but nowadays I got very little time so I took the easy way. Did this in just a couple of hours. I got the design from the instruction manual, lol ;) Had the choice between a standard and easy ported box and what I did.
