how do you connect multi batteries?

Recommended Posts

Running the wires together can create noise. Short ground to frame is best. Make sure other battery has good frame and body grounds as well.

if you run shitty rca's next to a power wire yes you will get noise, you can run power and ground wires along side each other and not have any problems

or even better run a pos from front to back batt and a neg from front to back batt.

running to the frame is the same as running from neg port to back battery neg port becasue the fron battery is grounded to frame.. but by using the frame there is less resistance

so in short back battery short run to frame = better.

it's been proven by a few members on here that grounding the back battery (or batteries) to the front battery will give you some gain compared to grounding out at the chassis in the back. i'd also ground to the front battery. look at some of the heavy heavy installs, you'll see multiple runs of BOTH wires going to the front. grounding amps however is best at the chassis

and i wouldnt run any RCA next to power wire, shitty or not lol
