No one has tried this, maybe you could? If it won't overheat the H/U, you could wrap it in deadening. Thats just an idea, just wondering if it would work?

On a side note, I have noticed that lots of my iTunes purchased songs seem to sound like shit. Anyone else notice this?

Well, i don't download a lot from Itunes.

But the quality is low, i think the songs have a bitrate of 128.(that's low.)

From a cd i have a bit rate of atleast 800.(some even 1090. :P)

I was noticing that last time I was scoping the car VIC.

The deck is ISO'ed to the car (meaning) its bolted to the dash.

Only thing I can think of is that it is resonating the HU.

You own an IPOD, USE IT.

OR pick up a pioneer 4200ub it has the same voltage output, and gives you usb for your ipod, instead of that stupid headphone jack.

I thought about upgrading my HU, but I've already installed a 7 band EQ for sound adjustments, and a 2 channel 9volt line driver for the voltages increase.. This Poineer 4200ub will only give me the USB and the 3RCA output... is this worth changing out my HU for?
