Well, i don't download a lot from Itunes. But the quality is low, i think the songs have a bitrate of 128.(that's low.) Only thing I can think of is that it is resonating the HU. You own an IPOD, USE IT. OR pick up a pioneer 4200ub it has the same voltage output, and gives you usb for your ipod, instead of that stupid headphone jack.
