I am looking for amps in these wattage ranges specifically. they will need to produce this wattage on 14v @ 1 ohm. i am asking this because I am interested in competing in the Street Stock divisions of db Dragracing this year. Audison Thesis 2 x 800 RMS @ 1 Ohm Iam using 8 Kole Audio KW2 10" subs (I know...I am just trying to have some fun on a few bucks. lol) They are dual 4ohm so I need a mono amp @ 1ohm, that produces the truest wattage. I am going to compete with this setup so I need to follow the rules as close as possible. The 2 street stock classes are 1000 & 2000 max wattage with 1 amp, unlimited subs. BEST amp on crap speakers equals crap result. but as already stated your not looking for THE BEST because THE BEST isnt a price your going to want to pay...also THE BEST is pretty clouded by opinion. Also that MTX amp isnt going to work for you unless its modded or you mod it yourself, its not recommended for a 1ohm load and WILL go into protect without modification.
