ever had a hard time deciding?

Recommended Posts

im having a crisis!! for years (sense i was 10..im 28 now) i have been into lowriders, i had kids and thought hydraulics were un safe, so i went to sound systems, now after watching splexplorer rebuild his lowrider. i have the bug again. but i really want my music but have no room for both. i was going to sell my car and get a lowrider type car and build it. but i had my mind set on lifting my car and putting 24 maybe 6s forthe hell of it lol. then i looked and found crown vics with hydraulics/bags,so i thought my car bagged and 22s then had an idea of 20s, then i said ill go lowrider for real on 14" wires, needless to say i have a set of 20s a set of 22s and 14s...a partial system and im now scratching my head saying what the hell am i doing.

anybody else have this type of problem?..if any of what i just said made sense lol

get another car as a project (kinda cheap and maybe a little busted up, you can always learn how to do some body work with it) and start from scratch on it. put a little work into it here and there as a hobby and boom, as soon as you know it you'll be finished and it will turn out 100x better than you planned if you take your time and put some blood sweat and tears into it.

apparently you dont get the fact that the subaru was wrapped around a pole. and by the status of your comment, im guessing your mouth is too.

Yeah I have no clue if I want to lower my explorer or lift it, I keep going back and forth. It's going to stay stock height for a while till I decide and I am 100% positive it is what I want. I understand what you're going through, to an extent.

i can do decent body work but cant paint to save my life. good point though. for a while i have lived in an apartment complex and cant really work on my cars, i always have to go to a friends.or pay someone to do it.. ill be moving soon so ill have room for a project to sit. i guess having no room is whats really stopping me.

negative i sell shit and buy more til i make up my mind

thats what i have been doing. 56 cars in 4 years, shit i cant even count the systems i have been through lol

as much as you like audio i think you would be 10x happier with a sick ass hydrolic system

if i could get past the annoying sound of bags, i could bag and still have a system, but with hydraulics it would take a shit load of batteries, and id have no room for subs, i got an idea logan!!!!! you take 1 of my kids!....then i can wall my car and have my switches too :yahoo:

what do you mean the annoying sound? The pssht or the compressor? If your on 1/2" valves the pssht only last for a second till you hit the ground, and when i had my compressor in the trunk i could barley hear it with the music off, kinda depends on if you mount it on something thats gonna resonate. IMO bags are easier if your just getting into the style, fluid leaks are a little harder to clean up than air leaks lol.
