bassl0va
Wow, I'm surprised that CA glue can't be removed by solvent... We used to worship that stuff at work. It would remove 50 year old ink stains! i've used rubbing alcohol to loosen it up before, but it will not eat all of the way through it. http://www.hobby-lobby.com/z_7_debonder_1_oz_2882_prd1.htm acetone is said to work best, but acetone can be pretty nasty to your item Thanks to my Traxxas RC hobby yes there is a CA remover that helps weaken it quite a but http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXK299 you can get it in different sizes but that's an example. bassl0va
Eew, yuck Thats better ZOMG! Sagging spider! Real nice terminals though. Took me a good 20 minutes to cut the dust cap off without damage! But WTF is wrong with the former?!? Whacking some more ugly chrome off. Now for the surround, luckily the glue is rubbish. And the nice terminals. Mint condition coil!?! WTF?!? You can see the screw holes for the spider. I was lucky with this one! Reasonable basket.
