Maybe not a huge difference but maybe 1-3mpg. A gallon of gas weighs about 7.5lbs. So say you have a 15 gallon tank. If you only fill half way instead of full that's over 50lbs less of weight for your car to carry. Again. Not a huge money saver but it is there.
