superdave07
loving this thread. Funny to hear some stories about your first ride. I was riding bmx through the west side of town and saw this baja bug for sale. So when i got home i told my dad to round up the trailer i was gonna go buy this thing I test drove it, i could have drove it home but i have a rule about buying old cars. Take em home and make sure they aren't going to kill you the first trip to the parts store! The car is great i've had a lot of good times in it. Still own it, havent driven it in 3 years but its still a good car. I'm trying to get some pics up. Heres a few of the rides... Gingeriffik
Mine was a 1986 Mercury Topaz. It was amazing the car still ran when I got it. My dad actually bought it as the training car for the # of us. My sister, brother and me. My sister is 5 years older than me, brother is 3. So you can imagine how beat to crap it was when I got it. It did however have a decent set of American Racing wheels thanks to my bro, LOL!!! <>< Collosians 2:13-14, Philippians 4:13, 1 John 4:7-10 2 - JBL W15Gti 2 - JBL BP1200.1 Knu 1/0 Wiring Kenwood KIV-BT901 Kenwood/Garmin Nav. superdave07
damn those red light tickets! I sold a car to a buddy, let em keep my plates for the night so he could drive it home. He ran two lights that night, i got the ticket, then i called to cancel the plates, long story short, i still ended up paying for it.
