I'm sure it will, I've built boxes based off that site's calculations with 45*s in the corners & have been very impressed!...Made 10s beat way harder than i thought they would! bkolfo4
Did you notice that calculator did not ask you for the box volume to determine the required port area? Sorry, I had to say it Quote Current system: 1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s Previous systems: 2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz. 1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz. hamel52
yeah i did notice that when using the torres calc it pretty much gives you a range determined by box volume. so what is the right way to build it?
AUDIOADDICT02
yeah i did notice that when using the torres calc it pretty much gives you a range determined by box volume. so what is the right way to build it? Usually, the number that the site gives me is usually within the range in the calc, if the box is too small & port area too big I just use the biggest number in that range....always worked for me...
