lots of confusion in this next post..

got a little greedy with wanting lows so I was messin around on my deck since thats the last thing I can pin it on

went to HPF and turned it off and there they were!

but of course the speakers are now getting sent bass which is bad

so I go to the 2 channel and turn the HPF up until I don't hear bass on the mids and go test everything

shit was dumpin on the lows then when me and Red-Navi were at Raley's the right side mid cuts out which cuts the tweeter out too

weird so I turn the bass knob all the way off and turn the deck up to max and its crackling then kicks the mid kicks on again so I figured something was grounding off somewhere

go home and check everything and now the mids no matter what are getting sent bass and the tweeter doesn't work

did a whole lot of different configurations and I finally got it to where the HPF on the deck is off so I can play lows and the HPF on the amp is turned up so there are no mids but I blew both tweeters

and I think there is a blown channel on my RF so I have the mids running at 2 ohm right now but even then they will cut off every once in a while and I'll look back and there is no thermal or no protect

how would I send them back since they are under warranty but I didn't order them, they were sent to me to "try out"

do I use the shipping confirmation or what?

I just want tweeters and lows back

that also means I need a new deck because the Alpine obviously can't be tweaked to have lows without killing something else

lows on the subs.....are you not using the sub out on the deck? the sub out shouldnt be affected by HPF should only mess with the mids and highs, if im wrong then alpine sucks giant donkey balls.

you are correct on this since my alpine hpf is at 100hz and doesn't affect sub with any of the settings
