ok so me and my sister and a friend are having a pumpkin growing contest, growth from seeds to full grown pumpkin

its gonna take place over the next few months until weighing in time

the pumpkins chosen were "big max competition size"

should grow to over 70lbs

so i decided to keep a log of the growth over the next few months updating with new pics every few days of the growth

any suggestions on how to make my pumpkin larger and win the contest would be greatly appreciated

these were taken today exactly 7 days after seeds were planted

look online and see what PH levels that pumpkins grow best in, and add minerals and nutirents as needed.

miracle grow is a great growth enhancer.

use ph up or down to keep your ph at 6.4

once you start using miracle grow you cant switch to another nute.

I like using foxfarm grow and bloom

use grow for the first month then switch to bloom.

add 1tsp per gallon of ph'ed water

shoot the pumpkin up with milk. I have some pumpkins in the garden for the kids, my old man told me he seen something on tv, they were shooting them up with milk. Prob raw milk, I would google it.
