just a little update. not much, but been busy at work.

stretched the ac controls, all 19 wires. 38 soldered ends...... :trippy:

IMG_3451.jpg

but managed to get er done. 30" longer..... also stretched the head unit wiring

IMG_3453.jpg

also got a little farther on the doors....finally!

started with a sheet of 2"x4x8 polystyrene foam....

IMG_3456.jpg

and trimmed to fit the new panels

IMG_3458.jpg

and ended up getting the basic shape down.

now just need to figure out the handle, the tweeters, and what to do with the bare space under the 6.5's.........will button it up tomorrow and get some resin started.....

any ideas are always welcome, and thanks for looking 8)

You could always put the speaker crossovers in the door under the 6.5's. Great looking build. So when you going to put air ride and lay her out? lol jk. I have a buddy that has 2 of the same body style chevy dually's laying body, one turbo diesel, one 454.

formerly known as Blue86f150

its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies.

Regardless if they were dipped platinum and were stuffed in Beyonce's twat.....way too fucking exspensive

hmmm, no. didn't get that far yet. thanks for the heads up. will have to think of something. maybe when I glue the material down the glue will act as a sealer? will have to experiment...

was kinda thinking the same.....the crossovers, opened up and blue led's and some plexi....

and the air ride comes really soon after the interior is back together. have to build a new center section for the frame, or body drop her as the frame is about 3 1/2" lower than the rockers. figured since I'm making my own control arms, might as well scrape :yahoo:

Awesome craftsmanship sir, the doors are phenomenal.

thanks tons, nice to hear!

Looks good homie! Youre at the same place as I am now haha. Been down about work so not motivated to start layin glass yet...

What you thinkin for the door handles? Im drawin blanks on ideas this morning... Rough night out :D

Keep it up Matt!

Thanks bro, Whats up with work? getting slow?

thinking I'm going to do them so they resemble the stock ones......may even grab another set of door panels from the pick-n-pull and see if I cant use them somehow? lol will play around with 'em some more tonight
