Alpine 9856. running the 3mm jack from the IPad dock (in the frame i made) to a set of RCA's,(adapter for around $10 on E-bay) and into my alpine via an adapter for the cd changer. comes up on alpine screen as "AUX IN" Looks great. I did not wrap them. never found the vinyl stretchy enough for the complex curves. probably could have kept researching, as kasey (thehoe92) mentioned a site that had some pretty stretchy stuff. actually tore my doors apart and WAS looking for some stock ones, but with the prices, think I will make another set instead. didn't like the 8's I had previously in the doors. think this time around, will put the 8's in the kicks, and just have 6.5's in the doors. and only 2 per door, not 3+ the 8. think you should really try it your self (wrapping them) if you glassed them, not much more difficult to do it. try with the 3M adhesive. forgiving in the sense that you can pull it up if needed. and if your material works for ya, redo it with some quality adhesive. looking for your build log now....your doors in it? 06 2500hd, 6.0L, 4l80e, 4wd, (muah work truck) 7" BDS HC lift kit (5) 37x13.5R18 Toyo Open Country M/Ts (5) 18x10 Moto Metal MO962 tablet in lieu of deck blue tooth interconnect to soundstream eq (for volume control and bass control) 4 Alpine type r 10's 6 cubes net, 80sqin's port, tuned to 33hz 2 brutus brx5000.5's 2 pairs 3" polk audio for a pillars 4 pairs polk audio 6.5 comps 1 pair 8" polk audio for mids 2 xspower d3400 batteries.....learning alot from meade and his circle of some of the baddest installers ive seen- thanks guys, for not being so cocky and posting the way it should be done!P.S. I may have missed it but how are you going the get the iPad to move forward? The dash, pillars and everything else look amazing.
