But then you have a hundred different sanctions that measure things differently. IASCA, Usaci, meca, Db Drag, NSPL, etc. Who is to say which is right? Thats all Im saying. What I think has gotten out of hand is all the young kids that watch a couple videos on youtube and spend every day on the forums and think that they are experts. of course. and 20 years ago you didnt have people who thought they knew what they were doing? there will ALWAYS be people who dont know what theyre talking about. but now im confused, are you complaining about the rules or young wippersnappers? sounds more like old men ranting to be honest... i should have been a bit more specific, the post was kind of directed both at sub2 and you, so my mistake for not clarifying. i think maybe the concerns brought here would be better voiced towards the ones in charge of the competitions. kind of taking the good, fixing the bad, and trying to keep it fair, flexible, and open to everyone. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

Wish I could find pictures of it, this was the astro van correct? OH GOD! I cannot believe people remember that rig?! The Fosgate Astro Van! I did the "The Punch" Decals on it!!!! (If it is the one I think it is?!?!) Then when they repainted it... I did a stencil and they painted the punch on it and Rockford Fosgate on the bottom! Memories!

(ITS A RACKET) i believe finals should be held at a central location to accomidate the entire competition throughout the united states i dont like usaci because the price of comptition is way high, especially when they hand out $5 trophys. and give a little recognition on their forum they charge $500 just to throw a show in your town and you have to pay. Dbdrag does the windows up and they consider that to be a legal score when in fact that does not show the full potential of the system. i do however love the bassrace aspect and my basscontroll is basically that except its 2 out of three rounds which makes it a lot more interactive. iasca use to be ok when they came around but meh nespl i have never been to nor have i been to meca but the fuse classing seems kinda wierd and i dont know much about meca this is spam imo, its not allowed here

Dbdrag does the windows up and they consider that to be a legal score when in fact that does not show the full potential of the system. i do however love the bassrace aspect and my basscontroll is basically that except its 2 out of three rounds which makes it a lot more interactive. iasca use to be ok when they came around but meh nespl i have never been to nor have i been to meca but the fuse classing seems kinda wierd and i dont know much about meca a lot of people who dont know what theyre doing so when they finally hear something nice, they realize how little they know, so young wippersnappers dont mean much to me. the point of that statement was im confused as the intention of this post. is it because of the classes? the rules? the fact you dont like burp vehicles? or you just like little kids on your lawn? i do hear and understand the rant about the rules, but in between the rants (not only you) theres complaining about the younger generation so it was kind of hard to take the point sewriously because i didnt know if it was just, i hate young kids these days. i got started into audio because i love music, singing, making, performing, and have grown up in a musical family. both of my parents are performers and so i got into sound quality really early and just started moving on with the generation. im more of a do it yourselfer and after paying to have my first system installed i decided to disassemble my system and read and taught myself almost everything i know. started reading more and actually learning how speakers, waves, and power works. then got into building my own cars and have gone through NUMEROUS systems. being in alaska were not as lucky to have access to a lot of the competitions that happen, but i have made sure when there is one going on where family and friends are located i make my way down. i experiment, do a lot of research, and build my cars to what i love and like. my cars are my own, extensions of me, and the systems are just that. i normally dont burp my vehicles but they can burp. are you mad that burp specific vehciles cant play music? are your builds able to burp without blowing them selves apart? i mean, its like a minivan and a sports car, two completely seperate builds built for two completely seperate purposes. back to the topic, the rules do kind of get to me, but i think theres better ways of changing it than ragging on younger kids who are not as smart as you, oh great one. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
