It is going to be loud as all hell, but can it get better............ most definetly. For the next 1, I would angle the 2 front woofers to allow for a larger cut. then the other 4 are straight back. The first xxx truck box was all 8 woofers sraight back.. nobody ever saw that 1. it came right out and a new box got built. Just my experience. Shit but then again I suck at these, ... Rule of thumb for me is to make the cut as large as possible everytime no matter what it takes. Ill keep an eye on this one to see how things progress. Any q's just pm me. assman Posted July 30, 2007 Report Share Posted July 30, 2007 one thing i was thinking to and maybe Ray or anybody else can shed some insite on it is--If it doesnt turn out the way you want it you could seal the 2 boxes and see what that does.It would have the cut thru act as the port in a bandpass box.I might be wrong might be on to soething but who knows. Chode69 Posted August 3, 2007 Author Report Share Posted August 3, 2007 well...i have a HUGE set back...as i was loadign the subs into my truck i decided to look at the VCs...one of them was a lil blackened but didnt look too bad. now i go "hmm ima check the other one" as i do that i see a "string" inside the subs basket. well that string happens to be unwound VC that was charred and unwound. The other 2 subs are still the nice copper color but the other 2 are well i KNOW 1 is blown but the other may not be. I plan on getting the blowthrough part done today and the alarm finished also new speakers put in...as for the batteries, amps and subs...i doubt they will be put in.
