Hurting your ears really just depend on the person, and its hard to have an actual idea of sound through video. What subs, amp, box size, car, what kind of music do you listen to... arnold1992 Posted July 25, 2010 Report Share Posted July 25, 2010 higher freqs like 40-50hz give my ears a feeling of the air "drilling" into my canal, while lows like 25-35 "pushes" the whole ear drum..IMO i feel that the lows are felt and hurt alot more. Team_DC-Derrick Posted July 25, 2010 Report Share Posted July 25, 2010 if you want your ears to hurt, turn your highs up and have that 1k+ hz freq screaming in your ears, they will hurt for sure.... if you want deep chest hurting bass, 35ish tuning will be killer from 30 to 45ish, and thats one of the best frequency ranges on music...
