Okay, finally adding the several runs of 1/0 I need to. I figured a little over 2" will let me run 4 runs of 1/0 without a problem- and help clear up that ugly wiring you can see in those pics. The guys who installed the alarm did almost nothing to clean things up under the hood, but I'll be doing that to.

Tonight:

It took me HOURS to cut this hole, so I'm damn well going to post pictures. I went to lowes looking for a drill or flex bit that would let me cut that big a hole, or atleast one big enough for me to get a sawzall blade in there. They had NOTHING. so I used 4 bits to get the hole.

The place in the firewall where I cut, it has a rubber pull-out.

Extension, 90 degree bit (expensive as hell for what it is, but worth every penny), 3/8 conversion bit to fit the extension and the oversized drill, and a 2 and 1/2 inch drill, but I might bump it up to 3".

And the hole finally cut.

That's the only way I could figure to cut it, if anyone else knows a better way its too late  But I'd like to know for next time.

Most likely tomarrow I'll clean up that wire sticking out there in the picture, and later in the week add the next 4 runs of 1/0. Just have to go drop the money on it. I'm debating if I should save the money for alternator(s), but I think getting the wire in right now is pretty important, and I'll have to do it anyway.

I received the pleasure of sitting in this truck today and its LOUD. No joke, it took me a minute or so to get used to it hitting that hard. The first several times it hit I couldn't help but jump a little (and I'm used to my setup playing music @ 147db). I was sitting in the passenger seat with the TL on while he was demoing for some people and it was easily hitting 151+ on music (mic on the dash) with a best of 152.8 on music. It would have been nice to have my video camera to get footage of the people cringing or just flat out running away when he cranked it. I'll make sure to have it at the next show.

Thanks A LOT for posting that for me! I've been trying to figure out how to get it off my phone, but I couldn't.

By far the most fun I've had at a show (not like I've been to very many) but a great time.

Big thanks on letting me play on the t/l, and the screwed cd- I've been listening to it and it's really good

Truth be told your setup sounds pretty damn close, especially with as well as it gets those lows. My cousin was saying he could he hear your truck from the other side of the fair-ground loud and clear. :)

I did some testing and from the front of the truck to the amps, with everything shut off no matter what i'm 0.3v lower at the amps. When there's actually a drain it's quite a bit more. Sooo wire this week in preperation for next show, and finish filling in the rear hatch.

I'll do a search on that alt guy, maybe it'll be sooner than I thought till I get some in there. Thanks again, hopefully I'll be able to make the next show.
