zaxfire69
If they are Dual 4 ohm voice coils and you wire Them ++++ and ---- Then your amp would see .5 ohms at the amp.. If They were Dual 2 ohm voice coils and you wire them +++ and ---- Then your amp would see .25 at the amp.. roscoe1129
How about you go back and change your typeset and size and unbold everything, or I can just delete it.....Please use a little common sense when posting people.....The large and bold and all caps has to stop so that it is easier read by all of us. roscoe1129
well I sont know how a sub can be 2-4 ohms, but the way to check is to put a multimeter on the coil and measure the resistance. If you have two coils they are dual (insert impedance here) if not they are single....... EricM9104
How about telling us what sub model they are so we can find out the specs for it. However from what it looks like you're tring to say is it's a 4 ohm DVC and if those 2 subs like that are wired in parallel you'll achieve a 1 ohm load at the amp. 2015 Honda Civic LX 4dr | 24k miles Stock H/U and mids/highs Power Acoustik GW3-12" D2 Sub HiFonics BXX1200.1D @ 1ohm Random 2.5^3' dual ported box NVX LOC Stinger wiring throughout 1977 Chevy SWB Cammed 350 Dual exhaust Cheap Wish stereo
