zachhern1 Posted August 15, 2010 Author Report Posted August 15, 2010 ok...the static is coming from my speakers...i dont have subs at the time. i also get a popping sound from my speakers when i turn my vehicle on. i havent checked my grounds...my mid/highs amp is grounded to the body. i grinded off the paint and screwed it down.... Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. Is there more resistance per distance with a thicker wire or thinner wire? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it wouldn't work just had a question of my own.
