TeamHT
Hes actually correct lol. The poly fill does slow down the sound waves, kinda like when people say it makes the box seem larger But I dont know about it being louder and more powerful. That all depends on the driver, power, and enclosure. I don't think you understand what exactly I was pointing out as stupid rumors...lol According to him the waves are bouncing from wall to wall repeatedly, so stuffing the box makes the waves work harder, longer, and stronger thus creating the larger sound. Polyfill use...understandable. but mattress stuffing is not polyfill. It's yellow foam.... And the only time some type of polyfill would make sense is when the subs are in a sealed enclosure which is smaller than the manufacturers minimum requirements for internal volume. His box was built to spec, and ported. Adding the polyfill based on his science was useless, retarded, and accomplished nothing but a flatter and muddy frequency response and changed the tuning of his box. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

bassl0va
I was talking to this guy at a car audio shop and saying how I was thinking about upgrading to a RE MT 18" and he's like, no, don't get that. You should get a fusion 15". I'm like, WTF? no, the RE MT is bigger, can take more power and a stronger brand. He just kept going and I got tired of it. I just gave up and walked away. lol My RE MT 18" wall build Former build, farewell beloved wall.In progress, Toyota Starlet build This forum has a massive boner for ridiculous electrical upgrades. bumonskateboard6
The reason an amp had it's speaker terminals come loose from the board and need to get fixed is because the sub is DVC and you can't run a DVC sub on a monoblock amp... skittlesRgood
"what do i need to blow out my windows" or "my friend's system blows out his windows!" some one told me a cap is better than a HO alt, because thats what his cousin told him. two 12" subs = 24 square inches "ya i have a 2000w amp" "what brand?" "legacy, it only cost me $50!" DC current ratings for wire are the same for AC. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.
