If your really a undercover like u say, you should be getting paid more already. He is getting ready to leave the Military to be some sort of undercover. maybe pay is different where you live. Just wondering?? it is tough. everybody reacts differently....to be honest. i hated it, but i would do it again. you get strong as hell, (i was pretty tough mentally going in) and you get tougher physical and mental (major mental) you gain a hell of a lot of discipline. and you come out with 3 grand if your like me and find 2 other people to sign up and get contract PFC. not to mention if you already married or have kids you come out with 6 grand edit: really no matter what you like theres a bit of evrything. in the beginning its drill (marching), knowledge, getting fucked up, and learning to be a Marine, then it goes to learning military stuff ( gas chamber, fastropiing/rappelling, combat swimming, rifle week, etc) then in the final part its the combat part with staying out in tents in the wilderness, squad rushing, formations, remainging undetected (the part you get down and dirty and no sleep), then its the crucible which fucked up my knees for the next 6 months but you earn your title and things really change I don't fuck around.
