Im sure once i get my 2 300a alts installed it will be closer to 3500w a piece to each sub LOL, that power was at 11.2v at 2 ohms so dont be scared to power those 5s.... maybe 2 DC 5ks? For being 400rms subs they do get loud. but then again any hatch will get loud with what ever you put in there. thanks for the advice on system options. Got a wheel box from work Laid some styrofoam pieces (about an in) and some newspaper on the bottom,then a piece of card board over it . Put the amp box inside, the pool noodles on each side with some styrofoam pieces around it Wrapped the amps a few times with some bubble wrap and duct tape Put one on top of each other in the box. Some styrofoam, packing peanuts and more bubble wrap on the sides Closed it Layer or styrofoam and packing peanuts, cardboard and taped up the box and ITS READY TO GO!
