AUDIOADDICT02 Posted August 28, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 28, 2010 A few weeks ago I helped a friend hook up a system in a single cab chevy(which I made another custom painted box, but he never sent me the pics of the install) in which we hooked up an audiocontrol epicenter with a performance teknique mono and I honestly didn't like how it sounded, bass sounded forced, distorted, idk exactly what it was that made it sound that way, but I didn't like the sound quality in that install... maybe you'll get different results.... AUDIOADDICT02 Posted August 28, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 28, 2010 Like I said, I'm not into epicenters so idk exactly how to tune them, and apparently neither did my friend.lol!...I set the gain according to the rms chart(a little bit less in case of clipping) and its an L5 12 in a sealed box(which will be swapped out for a kerf ported box tuned to 38hz soon)... I'll probally hav a vid up in a week, don't see em too often...
