dwright27 Posted August 30, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 30, 2010 I want pictures of dual batts under the hood please no pictures yet. the 4.6 has a little more room under the hood, we are gonna have to make brackets for it. the only way im gonna do this is if we can trick these optimas into charging. mine comes factory with duals lol. what kind of box is this. i know you fuckers like to play with the quadruple second quad heart bandpass boxes. bahaha going old schoolish with this one. standard ported box, big port, lowish tune. i wanted to try a 6th order, and i still may be able to!! just gotta do some math and crunch some numbers. the outer shell of this box is 23 cubes gross iirc. net airspace is 3 cubes per woofer, 12 cubes total after displacements. gonna do some more reinforcements on the shell cause i put the back on without remembering i couldnt put the second layer because the port pieces were already on. heres some pics from today!! this color is OFF THE CHAIN! its WAYYYY brighter then what the pictures show. gonna try and get my airbrush guy to do my logos in this color. otherwise, the rest will be painted and polyurethaned this week and wet sanded the weekend!! Actually this one isnt as complex. After the last wall he had, when I rode with him something had to change. I hated sitting straight up on the dash the whole time. Dustin had T-rex arms so it doesnt effect him with his seat slide all the way up. So this design is: Im laying back with subs pounding me in the head all day design.
