Boon
Breakers for stuff like boats, campers, blah blah... where if you get a short and you don't have a spare fuse it's a long, long paddle home. In a car, use a fuse. As above, breakers are only good for a few pops at their rating and they take forever to open compared to a fuse. Quote 10.x volts fo' life! craracer05
Breakers suck they always pop when you start drawing large amount of current and they get hot. ingramcaraudio
I've always used breakers and never had any problems with them but if you use a fuse the same rating that woulnd't be a bad idea. kingsuv
I just had to trouble shoot an install with a breaker. I had 5v at the amp. even when it was tripped i had 5v. I have a 12v to 5v step down module in the trash if you would like it Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. sub2weeker
just wondering if a circuit breaker such as http://cgi.ebay.ca/250A-250-Amp-Manual-Reset-Circuit-Breaker-XScorpion-12v-/290447795958?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43a009a6f6 would work as well as a 250 amp fuse? would there be more resistance or would it work fine. i'd rather flip a switch if i pop a fuse, than going threw the motions of switching fuses. thanks for the help. NO FUSES OR BREAKERS. fuck that shit. just make sure your shit is wired good. Quote this is spam imo, its not allowed here
