audiofanaticz Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 I'm not an electrical genius or anything, but if the rca is what triggers the "flash" then it is soaking up your pre out voltage exactly... It dont matter if your using a y cable. or a rca input, and a rca output which then goes to your amp (like he originally stated) or you use a rca pass-thru on a amplifier which does not boost your rca signal and is just that a pass thru (like he now claims it works, even tho the pics show otherwise) lol Its soaking up pre amp output voltage..

I would be interested to know about the switches duty cycle and projected longevity. I'm sure it has a limit, just like a diaphragm type switch like the streetglow units use.
