Most likely it would be smaller depending on what you want. My box 1.8^ft after dis. With two 3" aeros box is around 13t x 18w x 22d. I know that would easily fit in your trunk.

2.4cubes tuned to 32hz...the btl peaked at 30hz so im interested to see what the lvl 5 or XL does

As far as box size goes, DC told me to do 3.5 net cubes with 52.5 sq in port (35-38hz) for my 2 12" XL's on two old punch 1500's (probably between 3 &3.5k, I'd guess). Not exactly the same set up, but I thought it may be worth knowing as you think about what you will do and stuff. I love my XL subs; but I don't, honestly, have alot of high powered sub experience. IMO,I'd probably save money and use the XL with a tad of caution.

realistically you will see more like 2k after rise and such. Which its great for a xl. I personally think the XL will take upwards of 4k but you know how I am. If you dont plan on changing the box and drop a lvl 5 in you will most likely be around 2.25 after the increased displacement, which is pretty small for a lvl 5. Theres more to think about the which will work better with the amp. If the box is off by alot it doesnt matter what sub you throw in there.

^^^ ill most likely just do the lvl 5 and work on building a new box...in trunk sealed off..but i still have time to decide the lvl 5s wont be in for a lil while but before the xl
