jl13w7freak Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 I Have a JL 13w7 and 2 JLw3's. Had a box built to hold all three subs. And I have a Crunch 1500.1.... powering it. I have a pioneer headset that goes up to 72. Everytime i turn the volume pass 26 the cd player blanks out and stays off until i turn the volume back down to 25.... I figured it was a voltage problem so i added a capacitor... It then let me turn it up to 33 but no higher..... Now instead of it blanking out, the amp gets very hot and the protect light comes on. Do u think i need to add another battery.... or is something else causing the problem. I checked all of the wiring and everything is grade A........ Any advice...

There's really no need for the W3's considering a W7 at 1000rms in the right box sounds fucking orgasmic. If anybody in the Sacramento area has a vehicle for sale for less than $1,500 get at me. I'm open to almost anything that runs.
