Rogers
hey i dont care. Go put a sundown amp on a oscope you will never get it to be clean. They put out lots of power i will admit that I highly doubt that Sundown would be as successful if this was true.... FYI the wave has to be clean before it gets to the amp, in order for it to produce a clean wave..... Have you honestly ever owned a Sundown amp OR scoped one? im kinda doubting it... i guarantee there are about a hundred guys on here that could show you a sundown amp doing MORE than rated power on a CLEAN wave.... stop spreading BULLSHIT around or Quote http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/79921-rogers-700-dream-car-update-page-17-a-wall/?p=2335774 93 Saturn SC2My system4 SA-15's Walled 2 Cerwin-Vega S2000's 3 Kinetik Hc2000's Dual 200amp alts. you guys done with the peepee touching contest or do I need to end it? WCA Rusty
Sounds like your subs wer probly from 2008 or older if they had free floating leads, When we were doing testing on free floating leads vs sewn down leads we did get a big increase in power that leads could handel with the sewn version, thats why at the last few years we have used them on the Lv4's and up models. We make 2 diffrent version of them, round lead sewn to the positive rolls, like you see on the 4,xl and 5 and them also flat leads sewn to the negative roll you see on the Lv6. both work great, we use the flat on the 6 just because it uses 16 input leads and well, that would be a little on the hard side with the round leads sewn to the top. Burnt leads are exactly that, they get over heated, work hardened and break. Leads dont burn themselfs up as they can not create heat on there own. its whatever that being fed through them that induces the heat. But get yourself a set of the 2011 recones with the stealth coils, they will out perform your current soft parts. Quote DC AUDIO Phone Number 1(855)SPL-DBZZ Built by Competitors, for Competitors. You can get the flat wind sewn leads on any coil I believe. No the lvl 6 parts do not fit the lvl 5 and under motors.
