95pimpalass
How does the Phase 180 feature work........?
thacarter546
The phase should be left at zero. It basically switches polarity on the sub. Im gonna be the first to call bs on that tech guy and say if its rated at 1 ohm it should handle it fine. I also think the ratings sound bogus for the price those go for cheap. The L7 should be decent, what about a fi Q or SSD though? much better subs for the money IMO
95pimpalass
oh ok koo..... that's what i thought the phase was for thanks for clearin that up....... I actually installed 2 12'' L7s wired down to 2 ohms and so far this amp is pushin them pretty hard and clean....... but i still have to play the sound system for a longer time to really test this amp....... I was gonna purchase one 18'' Q but it requires 6 cu. ft. to go ported(too big for the trunk space thats needed)..... and i got the L7s for less then 300 bucks new from my boy & made a box thats 4.5 cu. ft. at 34hz(thanks to amatt85 for helping me with the dimensions) so its all good

Boon
If it's a Class D and it let the smoke out it's probably VERY broken. Class D amps have a habit of blowing a lot of stuff at both ends of the amp (Power and Output) when they pop as well as lots of little complex stuff in between like driver boards. 10.x volts fo' life!
