Chickens 2002 Caddy, The Hoopty 8 18" Fi Btl + Rockford Fosgate (2) T15k Amps! UPDATES! IPAD AIR 2 In Dash page 335

The bottle wrapped looks bad ass. I know you mentioned that you fill it up with nitrogen, have you ever tried Helium?

There would be no advantage to running helium. Nitrogen helps with leaks in the air system, since the molecules for nitrogen are larger than oxygen, plus they can fill those bottle to obnoxiously high pressure (not sure if it's higher than helium). Overall, running nitrogen is a tried and true method for running a pneumatic suspension system.

My System:

Pioneer AVH-P3200BT

4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors)

8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash)

1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs)

2-18" BTL's (for now)

Crescendo 3kwp (for sale)

Complete rebuild coming soon...

well sence rosco liked that idea why not do this, mount the nitrogen bottle behind one of the doors behind b pillar mounted to the box, and would make it a hell of alot easyer to get new bottles in and out than haveing to take out the seats and would let ppl to see the sick cross over rack u built, maby carpet the side of box and what knot to make it fit better and will be more efficent tryin to take old bottles out and put new ones in, but i kno u dont like ppl chimeing in tryin to tell u what to do but it might help ya later on down the road tryin to handle them big ass tanks all day cause they aint that light lol, anyways the slide show idea was sick man, i could see that workin out ina good way, ya left monitor of befor pics and right monitor for after pics with smd.com comercials inbetween the pics, anyways steve u need to own one of those do-it-yourself videos so us newbs can learn some of those sick skills u got mane, i barally can fiberglass my door pods i built but u can make a pillars smooth as a babys butt, keep up da good work man

monitors in back doors....NOT gonna happen. I dont feel like it. If chicken wants to make me an offer to do it, i might consider it but im ready to finish this and i could care less if the doors EVER open again.

bottle on the SIDE of the box??? Not gonna happen LOL, you can barely put a piece of paper in there what makes you think a big ass bottle will mount there? Better go look at the pics.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone but im all good....i got it ;)

Awesome work Steve!! Been watching this thing for a long time now and can't wait to see that one final picture (probably on page 420 is my guess http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/01nocomment8so.gif ) of you handing the keys off to Chicken for the last time!!!!

I'm gonna cry when Steve posts that last pic! :sorry:

I am curious how you guys travel to shows with a vehicle like this, do you have to travel with friends with a spare 26" rim/tire? I have resorted to a Yakima roof rack for mine and wonder about the Hoopty and Steves Tahoe too. (?)
