Got a quick question for Steve or anyone who knows about 'sealing off' off a wall.

For comparing...think about where the Hoopty wall meets the rear door glass vs. Steves Civic where I think he glassed the wall to the B-pillar posts.

I know you guys want to seal the wall off for SPL purposes, but does it help with the actual sound of the wall any?

I guess no obvious advantage to be had by sealing the hoopty wall or using rubber gasket against the rear door windows?

Steve, what is the difference? (not trying to compare the 2, but you know what I mean! :P ) For the first time in my mini-meade version I am seeing the carpet by the rear windows move with air, and I begin to wonder what is going on. :D

anytime you seal off completely and NOTHING goes backwards, it is better. The Caddy is sealed of 100x better then the honda is. The honda is flared out to the Bpillars but not sealed correctly YET. The caddy is sealed off behind the rear doors. It would improve if i sealed it off to the pillars but its good the way it is. No bass makes it to the rear of the wall - not like the honda where the amps in the trunk start hovering and moving around :D
