Also, if you dont already know, she is gettin ready to get sprayed Candy Cobalt Blue. Dont hate or over-opinionate......its the color he wanted and if ya' dont like it, dont paint yours that color

anyway these will be chrome dish, black inside face, and the windows in the spokes will be machined to the stainless look. The rivets will be black too. This rim still needs to get put back in the CNC to finish it off, do some more carving, but it will be pretty nice when done.

Gotta love 3pc wheels. kandy paint as in HOK brand? Can't wait to see, I see a few cars driving around Sac with kandy paint jobs but whoever sprayed it did horrible jobs. Paint looks extremely cloudy/ blotchy. Not just any painter can spray it correctly. I would love to see the face of the rims color matched with the paint job though. Would look 100x better then the black but that's just my opinion.

Or kandy blue fade like one of these, actually think I had a pic of a caddy or hoe painted candy blue with color matched 3pc 6's or 8's on it but can't find the pic.

Roy will be shooting it but i think he is using Dupont or something like that. He doesnt like HOK. He says its a pain in the ass and i have heard it from more then one painter. We are using the exact same color that was chosen from the HOK book though LOL.

we will see about the color matched face on the wheel but i can tell you right now the chances are slim. To me, that shit doesnt always look good......in fact i almost NEVER like the way it looks color matched. I would say IMO, 85% of them look down right goofy. Neither of those pics up there changes my opinion on that. Chicken doesnt want it either i was lucky to talk him into the black/chrome. If the black/chrome/machined wheel doesnt look as good as we hope, our next step is to possibly color match. I dont see that happening though You never know though. I think those ridiculous hot pink donks with the matching pink 28's have ruined the color matched look to me. It has to be done extremely tastefully for me to consider it.

those wheels look sweet! and with how sell your paint job came out on the tahoe its a slam dunk that the caddy will be equally as nice lookin forward to seein it done and its to bad about chicken and his drinkin problem hope he see's the light and sobers up for good

Yeah I don't hear to many people that like to spray it, I just know its the preferred choice when it comes to kandy. You gotta go a full walk around the car and overlap that shit precise. I think most go 75% overlap.

But now that I think about it and look at the rim it would look pretty nice with the black scheme you were talking about. Or if you guys don't like it can toss on a little blue with it and see how it looks before you scrap it. Don't mind me I'm just a color matched kinda guy lol.

x2 what everyone else said though, hope he sobers up. I know that kinda thing runs through the blood on both sides of my family. A lot of heavy drinkers, number 1 reason why I don't drink at all.
