nahhh when they say "too hot" that means you put to much MEKP in the mix.....like ill put 8 or 9cc's of catalyst in for a 16oz cup and its perfect but if i was to put 20 cc's of MEKP in the same mix it would litteraly start smoking and get hot enough to melt the cup. Usually that can also warp whatever your working on too if you start layin it on with a mix that was "too hot"

If you stick with the right ratio on the mix, the heat outside (like Hawaii) will only lessen your work time because it hardens up faster but it shouldnt warp. If its hot outside you can use a few cc's less of the MEKP.

Door looking good Meade-Man. BTW, I see you start'in to put resin on the door. I was kinda wonder'in if that was a good idea to do that now or wait until you got the other door done? You know, kinda looking at both of them make'in sure if they're both even and stuff. Last minute check I guess. Just curious.

totally not necessary but something about using pigment that makes you not want the old boring brown resin anymore :D

It only takes a little bit to change the color, if you use other colors it might take more pigment. Black dominates the standard brown color pretty easy though.

Respirator is a must......this is like a gas chamber. I hung the panel up like it would sit in the truck so it wouldnt set itself up in an unnatural position.

ya i know it was more pretty before when it was just fleece.....but if you know about this stuff you know it gets UGLY before it gets pretty :D

anyway I CAN see the beauty in it :D
